It saddens me that no one sees how this dogma was the most venomous of all Catholic lies!

I believe that the Virgin birth is true, precisely because it is supported in the Scripture, it has been prophecied and it happened as it should, and it was written.

What I don't believe in is the idea (which started only in the second century) that the baby was sired by God Himself, that Joseph was just a foster father to Jesus (You will not find this in the scripture!), and the Idea that "THE WORD" was Incarnated In Flesh (The word Incarnation (and its concept) was adopted only during the twelfth century!).

Those (among all others) Catholic teachings clearly contradict the Scripture, the prophecies, the testimonies...it even defies sound logic and science, it's a lie, a clear fabrication created to boost other ancient Myths:

Isis originally a virgin (or, perhaps, sexless) goddess, and in the later period of Egyptian religion she was again considered a virgin goddess,

demanding very strict abstinence from her devotees. It is at this period, apparently, that the birthday of Horus was annually celebrated, about December 25th, in the temples. As both Macrobius and the Christian writer [of the "Paschal Chronicle"] say, a figure of Horus as a baby was laid in a manger, in a scenic reconstruction of a stable, and a statue of Isis was placed beside it. Another important source who cites the Paschal Chronicle and mentions Isis's virginity is James Bonwick in Egyptian Belief and Modern Thought:

In an ancient Christian work, called the "Chronicle of Alexandria," occurs the following: "Watch how Egypt has consecrated the childbirth of a virgin, and the birth of her son, who was exposed in a crib to the adoration of her people…"

The author of Christian Mythology Unveiled cites the "most ancient chronicles of Alexandria, which "testify as follows":

"To this day, Egypt has consecrated the pregnancy of a virgin, and the nativity of her son, whom they annually present in a cradle, to the adoration of the people; and when king Ptolemy, three hundred and fifty years before our Christian era, demanded of the priests the significance of this religious ceremony, they told him it was a mystery."

CMU further states, "According to Eratosthenes [276-194 BCE], the celestial Virgin was supposed to be Isis, that is, the symbol of the returning year."

Interestingly, all sources cited herein relate a different translation of the Chronicle, which would indicate that they used the original Latin text and that it contained the word "virgin."

Regarding Isis's baby, Count Volney remarks:

"It is the sun which, under the name of Horus, was born, like your [Christian] God, at the winter solstice, in the arms of the celestial virgin, and who passed a childhood of obscurity, indigence, and want, answering to the season of cold and frost."

Regarding the astrotheological nature of the gospel story, including the virgin birth/immaculate conception, the famous Christian theologian and saint Albertus Magnus, or Albert the Great, (1193?-1280) admitted:

"We know that the sign of the celestial Virgin did come to the horizon at the moment where we have fixed the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. All the mysteries of the incarnation of our Saviour Christ; and all the circumstances of his marvellous life, from his conception to his ascension, are to be traced out in the constellations, and are figured in the stars."

As Albert the Great acknowledged, the virgin-birth motif is astrotheological, referring to the hour of midnight, December 25^th, when the constellation of Virgo rises on the horizon. The Assumption of the Virgin, celebrated in Catholicism on August 15^th, represents the summer sun's brightness blotting out Virgo. Mary's Nativity, celebrated on September 8^th, occurs when the constellation is visible again. Such is what these "Christian" motifs and holidays represent, as has obviously been known by the more erudite of the Catholic clergy. Hence, the virgin who will conceive and bring forth is Virgo, and her son is the sun.

The immunity from original sin was given to Mary by a singular exemption from a universal law through the same merits of Christ

Being the new Eve who was to be the mother of the new Adam, she was, by the eternal counsel of God and by the merits of Christ, withdrawn from the general law of original sin.

Predecidualization

To enable implantation, the uterus goes through changes in order to be able to receive the embryo.

The endometrium increases in thickness, becomes more vascularized and its glands grow to be tortuous and boosted in their secretions.

Implantation is an event that occurs early in pregnancy in which the embryo adheres to the wall of uterus. At this stage of prenatal development, the embryo is a blastocyst. It is by this adhesion that the fetus receives the oxygen and the nutrients from the mother to be able to grow.

Development of the Embryo

The next stage in development is the embryo, which develops under the lining of the uterus on one side. CONCEPTION IS THE PROCESS OF FERTLIZATION (IT IS NOT THE "CARRYING IN THE WOMB").
Human fertilization is the union of a human egg and sperm, usually occurring in the ampulla of the uterine tube. Fertilization (also known as conception, fecundation and syngamy), is the fusion of gametes to produce a new organism. The process involves a sperm fusing with an ovum, which eventually leads to the development of an embryo.

PREGNANCY (latin "graviditas") is the carrying of one or more offspring, known as a fetus or embryo, inside the uterus of a female.

THIS CONCEPTION WAS NOT NATURAL IN THE SENSE THAT NO COPULATION BETWEEN JOSEPH AND MARY OCCURED, But today, this kind of conception can be achieved artificially even in virgin women. THIS CONCEPTION IS DIVINE and Perfect in the sense that it was done By The Power of God (no instruments, no petri dish, nothing but pure Power and Brilliance!)

BUT THE PREGNANCY OF MARY OR THE "CARRYING" WAS ALL NATURAL. PREGNANCIES occur in Moms' bellies right?
IT WAS ONLY THE PROCESS OF PREPARATION OR THE CONCEPTION THAT WAS NOT NATURAL.
CONCEPTION WAS THE PREPARATION OF JESUS' BODY WHICH THE ETERNAL FATHER DID BY HIS POWER THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
PREGNANCY or "CARRYING" OCCURED NATURALLY INSIDE MARY's WOMB.

Jesus shared in the same flesh and blood as his brethren so he could be
tempted, tried and tested, overcome, and in THIS WAY become a truly
sympathetic High Priest.

In Hebrews 2:17 the Greek words translated as, He had to be made like
His brethren in all things,is,homoiootheénai hína pánta toís
adelfoís. The Greek word homoiootheénai means, to be or become like.
The Greek word pánta (adverbially), means,wholly, altogether, in all
ways, in all things, in all respects, as it is used in Acts 20:35.
Therefore Jesus the man was made to be like his brethren in all ways, in
all respects, in all things, wholly and altogether. There's no doubt
from this passages definitions that Jesus was conceived and born as part
of the process used to insure he fulfills this description of him.

We should not forget Jesus Christ as prophesied in the scripture will
come from the descendants of David, from the Tribe of Judah.

Joseph fits this exact description, Mary doesn't.

Never was it mentioned in The Scripture That she is from the line of David!
In fact, It is Written: She came from the daughters of Aaron just as her cousin Elisabeth did. She is not from the Tribe of Judah! She is from The Levites!

Therefore blessed Mary can't be the origin of the SEED, first , because she came from the line of Priests, second and foremost, because the SEED of every man comes from the loins of the Father, not the Mother!

daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

Aaron does not belong to the Tribe of Judah. He is of the Levites,

thee, he will be glad in his heart.

Mary has in her blood of Levites, Her cousin Elisabeth came from the daughters of Aaron, a Levite. However which way you put it, blessed Mary still has in her blood that tribe which Moses spake nothing of concerning the Messiah!

Heb 7:14 (KJV) For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Mary, undoubtedly fits the prophesy as the virgin who shall conceive.
She was a virgin, engaged to Joseph, when she conceived.

Divine (PERFECT) Insemination.

The human male reproductive cell, which is known as a sperm, is a motile
cell with a head containing the nucleus and a whip like tail with which
it swims. The human female reproductive cell, which is known as an egg
or ovum, is a rounded cell many times larger than the sperm and
containing large amounts of cytoplasm surrounding the nucleus.
The internal deposit of semen occurs in the process of copulation, also
known as coitus or sexual intercourse. The male inserts the male genital
organ, the penis, into the female genital orifice, the vagina,
discharging the semen therein. This process is known as insemination.

True to the scripture, God did not use copulation to produce the motile sperm cell thru insemination. Instead, in a haze of brilliancy His Holy Spirit
surrounded Mary as He effortlessly inseminated Joseph's (the decendant
of David from the tribe of Judah) male gamete cell within the fertile
egg of this virgin woman.

Modern medical science has developed a method of insemination whereby
both animal and human spermatozoa can be kept alive outside the body for
long periods by freezing. Artificially introduced into the female
reproductive tract, such spermatozoa produce pregnancy in a remarkably
high percentage of healthy women. For many decades now the method,
called artificial insemination, has been used successfully in many
animal species, including human reproduction, to produce offspring where
either the male or the female is sterile.

Should we think the PERFECT Creator of the universe incapable of this PERFECT Divine Insemination?
Why must we Christians conclude this event beyond reason when mere
mortal humans have demonstrated skill and success with artificial
insemination?

The human female normally has a 28-day reproductive or menstrual cycle,
with ovulation usually occurring about 14 days before the onset of the
menstruation. Menstruation is the periodic vaginal discharge in humans
and other mammals, which consists of blood and cells shed from the
endometrium, or lining of the uterus. Menstruation accompanies a woman's
childbearing years, usually beginning between the ages of 10 and 16, at
puberty, and most often ceasing between the ages of 45 and 50, at
menopause. Menstruation is part of the process that prepares a woman for
pregnancy. Each month the lining of the uterus thickens; if pregnancy
does not occur, this lining breaks down and is discharged through the
vagina. The three to seven days that menstruation lasts is called the
menstrual period.
She was most likely between the ages of 16-18 and was in her
childbearing years.In most women the menstrual cycle is about 28 days,
but it can vary considerably even from one month to another. It was no
big deal for God to determine the time of her menstrual cycle.
Hormones in her bloodstream initiate a woman?s menstrual cycle; these
hormones stimulate the ovaries, which are the two female organs that
produce the ova, aka eggs. Each month, hormones cause an egg in one of
the two ovaries to mature and become capable of being fertilized and
develop into a fetus. The ovaries also produce hormones of their own,
primarily estrogen, which cause the endometrium to thicken. About midway
through the menstrual cycle, 14 to 15 days before the next period, the
ovary releases the mature egg in a process called ovulation. The egg
passes through the Fallopian tube to the uterus. If the egg unites with
a sperm on its way to the uterus, fertilization occurs and pregnancy
ensues.

During Mary's ovulation one of her ovary released a mature egg that
passed through her Fallopian tube on its way to the uterus; at the
instant this happened, God Brilliantly performed the Divine and Perfect Insemination. God inseminated Joseph's sperm cell ;fertilization occurred and the infant Jesus was procreated. This is the exact description of the scientific process that occurred.

This is how Christ's body that was prepared for Him by God as written in Hebrews 10:5 (Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:) was conceived. Jesus, Immanuel, whose Spirit is The Word of God, The begotten God, The Son of God from everlasting even before He entered the world, whose going forths have been from old, from everlasting ( Micah 5:2).

So this is how I reconcile the processes used; The blessed virgin Mary?s
ovulation was normal and typical; her ovary released a mature egg, as it
traveled down the Fallopian tube, God, by the power of The Holy Spirit,
inseminated the egg by Divinely inseminating the gamete
cell from Joseph (seed of David, of Solomon, of Reheboam, of Jeconiah, of Zerubbabel...of Judah) that would unitewith her fertile egg, making it now a fertilized egg, which then attached itself to the uterine wall, and the pregnancy began.

This is how The child Jesus in the flesh as prophesied, whose Spirit is The Word of God, The begotten God, The Son of God from everlasting even before He entered the world, whose going forths have been from old, from everlasting, was conceived.

Mary was the young virgin chosen by God to bear the child Jesus, whose Spirit is of The begotten Son, whose going forths have been from old from everlasting...and Joseph, from David, from Judah, was Jesus's father in the flesh..

This is the Jesus wherein all prophecies concerning THE TRUE MESSIAH was fulfilled.

USED" a.k.a. "MARY'S SEED ONLY" MYTH, THIS IS WHAT SCIENCE SAYS:

copies of a chromosome , or part of a chromosome, from one parent* and *no copies from the other parent.
Uniparental inheritance of imprintedgenes can also result in phenotypical
anomalies. Few imprinted genes have been identified, however uniparental
inheritance of an imprinted gene can result in the loss of gene function
which can lead to delayed development, mental retardation, or other
medical problems.

The most well-known conditions include Prader-Willi syndrome
and Angelman syndrome . Both of these disorders can be caused by UPD or other errors in imprinting involving genes on the long arm of chromosome 15.
Other conditions, such as Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, are
associated with abnormalities of imprinted genes on the short arm of chromosome 11 .
Chromosome 14 is also known to cause particular symptoms such as skeletal abnormalities,

Some claim Pathogenesis, but we know that that is also improbable, because such occurs naturally in some species, and has been artificially induced even in mammals, but generally produces only female offspring. In fact, scientists believe that not even the most advanced techniques could induce parthenogenesis in humans, especially for producing male offspring.

During that time, Women were generally held to be minors in Roman law they were not allowed to vote or run for political office, and could not hold rights to property. A married woman generally fell under the guardianship of her husband (or his pater familias).

The ONLY Probable reasons why she did so:
(1) the fact of their love for each other, (2) Mary's desire that Joseph should be with her for her delivery, and especially (3) the leading of the Holy Spirit; nor may we leave out of sight the presumption that Mary knew of Micah's prophecy and, guided by God's Spirit, moved toward fulfillment of it.

2. Jeconiah's line cursed argument.

Joseph didn't have any semen contribution in the flesh of Jesus,
the main reasoning being the Jeconiah's line is cursed by God, Jer 22:30. Thus, disqualifying his descendants to the throne".-catholic

FACTS:

God forgave Jeconiah.
Though Jeconiah was cursed in Jeremiah 22:24 and 22:30:
"As surely as I live," declares the LORD, "even if you, Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would still pull you off.
This is what the LORD says: "Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule any more in Judah."

There are three parts to the curse on Jeconiah (who is also called Jehoiachin or Coniah):

* that he would be childless (this is how the Hebrew text literally reads)
* that he would not prosper in his lifetime
* that none of his descendants would prosper and rule in Judah

The Scripture shows that in fact none of these took place.

* Jeconiah in fact had children.

· 1Ch 3:17 And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Sealthiel his son,

· 1Ch 3:18 Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

* He did prosper in his day.

· In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Evil-Merodach became king of Babylon, he released Jehoiachin from prison on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month. He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honour higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.

* His grandson Zerubbabel prospered and ruled.

· Hag 1:1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah,and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

* In fact the same words God used in rejecting Jeconiah were deliberately used in establishing Zerubbabel.

· "'On that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,' declares the LORD, 'and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,' declares the LORD Almighty."

Though Zerubbabel did not sit on the throne as king, the fact that Haggai 2:23 uses the same terminology as Jeremiah 22:24 shows that Haggai intended to indicate a reversal of the curse.
We have to conclude that in Jeremiah 22:30, "in his lifetime" qualifies the following phrases, and "for" explains that no descendant of his will prosper and rule only during his lifetime.

Therefore, Jeconiah's line was not disqualified either as Catholics claim! If it were, how come God still made made this oath to Zerubbabel, Jecohiah's grandson?!

Now, Read the prophecy of Balaam regarding the Coming Messiah:

And even if it's true that Balaam later on adviced Balak on how to entice Israelites to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. We cannot deny that all the prophecies and blessings of Balaam for Israel in Numbers 22-24 are from God, three times God ruled his utterances, so, instead of curses, there were blessings and magnificent prophecies, reaching forward until they told of "a star" rising "out of Jacob" (Numbers 24:17). This ruler of Israel shall smite the people of Moab, and destroy the sons of Seth. Israel will possess Edom and Seir; and shall overcome their enemies. Jacob shall rise in power and destroy many cities (Numbers 24:18-9 TB).

Scripture further supports that Jesus could not have come from the descendant of Mary who was Aaron, because Aaron is a Levite (Priests)

Because Priests will have nothing to do concerning the lineage of THE TRUE MESSIAH!

Neither could Jesus come from the line of Heli according to Luke3, (father of Mary, father in law of Joseph according to catholics) who was written as father of Joseph instead of Jacob as was written in Matthew's genealogy, because Heli is a also a Priest! There's only ONE Heli in the Scripture and He just can't be the Heli in Luke3 genealogy because of the time gap! and even if He was for however reason-still, He won't do because he is a priest!)

Joseph is the fruit of the loins of David, from the tribe of
Judah.. Mary is the blessed virgin who conceived Christ Jesus,**The WORD OF GOD, THE SON OF GOD from everlasting,** son of Joseph in the flesh,through the Power of The Highest. And that's the TRUTH.

Matthew 1 genealogy is saying that Joseph was the biological father of Jesus.

Joseph’s descendants (in Mat1 gen, aside from being consistent in its chronology, are scripturally supported to be the valid vessels (blood lineage of the true Messiah)

Luke3 genealogy, however, aside from its vagueness and inconsistencies, are obviously filled with lists of priests’ names. Moses said that the Messiah would come from Judah’s tribe and this tribe will have nothing concerning of priests.

Notice also the ending of Luke3 genealogy, (read in descending manner)

The correct understanding for “as was supposed” is ‘as was known”.

(Meaning: This genealogy is only how Jesus was known as son of Joseph in society; only for political and societal understanding and relating. Nearly every time that Luke uses the word “supposed” in his gospel and the book of Acts, it is under the implication that there is an assumption being made that was not accurate)

While In Mat1, the genealogy ends with this: (read in descending manner)

Mat 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was bornJesus, who is called Christ.

Notice how in the above verse was emphasized that THIS is the JESUS who is called CHRIST.

4. Solomon disqualified
Solomon was disqualified making Nathan the valid descendant of Jesus
through Mary-catholics

· the scripture only says that the throne will pass to Solomon as God willed it to be.

· But the right to be the bearer of the “Holy Seed” does not necessarily follow, it wasconditional “if Solomon and his descendants will keep the covenant”.

· Solomon and his descendants actually failed to meet the standards of righteousness necessary for the sanctity of the people from where the Messiah will be born. Therefore Jesus earthly lineage could not have come from this line.

FACTS:

According to Solomon:

1Ki 5:5 And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

God made an OATH to David:

2 Samuel 7:12-13 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Was it not Solomon who sat at the throne after David?
Yes, it was Solomon, not Nathan or any of David's offsprings.

Conditional?
Was it really? let's see:

· 1Ki 6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,

· 1Ki 6:12 Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

· 1Ki 6:14 So Solomon built the house, and finished it.

The condition was"Concerning the house which Solomon was building"
It does not concern the "house" which God really meant...for we know that the house which The Lord promised David which will be built through Solomon was not a building or a structure.

So The Lord was angry with Solomon:
Did The Lord consider Solomon's line disqualified as the vessel who was to build the House unto His Name?

No.

From, David, to Solomon, to Solomon's son was the promise.

Rehoboam, Solomon's son who sat at the throne after Solomon did not lose the city which God has chosen to put His Name on.

You know why?

Because The Lord has spoken about Solomon to David through the prophet Nathan, saying:

1Ch 17:11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

1Ch 17:12 He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

1Ch 17:13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

1Ch 17:14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

Therefore the argument that Solomon's line was disqualified is nonsense not only because it is not true but more so because even if (granting) Solomon was disqualified, His line was definitely not! Because the one chosen tribe, the city God promised to David, He also promised to Solomon's son Rehoboam!

If Solomon's line was disqualified as descent (blood lineage) of the true Messiah, How come God still confirmed His promise to David unto Solomon's son Rehoboam?

1Ki 11:36 And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.

5. It is also claimed by Catholics that Joseph adopted Jesus, and passed on his genealogy via adoption.

FACTS:

There are two problems with this claim:

a) There is no Biblical basis for the idea of a father passing on his tribal line by adoption. A priest who adopts a son from another tribe cannot make him a priest by adoption;

b) Joseph could never pass on by adoption that which he doesn't have. Because Joseph descended from Jeconiah (Matthew 1:11) .

Remember, Catholics teaches that Jeconiah's line was cursed, if that is so then Joseph also fell under the curse of that king.

To answer this difficult problem, apologists claim that Jesus traces himself back to King David through his mother Mary, who allegedly descends from David, as shown in the third chapter of Luke. There are four basic problems with this claim:

a) There is no scriptural evidence that Mary descends from David.

b) Even if Mary can trace herself back to David, that doesn't help Jesus, since tribal affiliation goes only through the father, not mother. Cf. Numbers 1:18; Ezra 2:59.

c) Even if family line could go through the mother, Mary was not from a legitimate Messianic family. According to the Bible, the Messiah must be a descendent of David through his son Solomon (II Samuel 7:14; I Chronicles 17:11-14, 22:9-10, 28:4-6) and then Rehoboam 1Ki 11:36 . The third chapter of Luke describes lineage of David's son Nathan, not Solomon. (Luke 3:31)

d) Catholics also claim that Jeconiah's line [Jeconiah, who was included in Mat1 (1:12) genealogy but not in Luke3 genealogy] was cursed, that is why Mat1 could not be the blood lineage of the Messiah (according to them).

But Luke 3, [alleged Mary's genealogy (according to catholics) ] (3:27) also lists Shealtiel and Zerubbabel (both direct blood descendants of Jeconiah).

(I think these Catholic fabricators overlooked the fact that If Mary descends from Shealthiel and Zerubbabel, it would also disqualify her from being a Messianic progenitor.)

3.the Messiah will come from the tribe of Judah.

The Christ, The WORD was already Son of God even before he took the form of man.

And there is a great reason why he had to take on the nature of a seed of Abraham:

First of all, Because God Chose Abraham to be the father of His people.

Can God not make Mary be impregnated with Joseph's seed even without sex? If God was able to make Sarah who was already old and menopaused conceive Abraham's seed and Elisabeth who was barren conceive Zachariah's seed, how can he not do the same to Joseph and Mary especially if that is how the prophecies about the messiah would be fulfilled?

Is it so impossible to think that God could make Mary pregnant with Joseph as sperm donor, if that is how the prophecy should be fulfilled then surely God can do it. If man can perform artificial insemination to virgins and make them conceive via sperm donor, how can God not perform a more brilliant and perfect method than man's.
(same thing with Sara and Elisabeth, today it is possible through vitro fertilization and stem cell treatment)

A SIMPLER EXPLANATION

According to Jewish sources, the Messiah will be born of human parents and possess normal physical attributes like other people.The Messiah must be descended on his father's side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24).

Catholics also claimed that Joseph adopted Jesus, and passed on his genealogy via adoption. There are two problems with this claim:

a) There is no Biblical basis for the idea of a father passing on his tribal line by adoption. A priest who adopts a son from another tribe cannot make him a priest by adoption;

b) Joseph could never pass on by adoption that which he doesn't have. Because Joseph descended from Jeconiah (Matthew 1:11) (who according to them whose line was cursed), therefore he too fell under the curse of that king.

To answer this difficult problem, Catholics claim that Jesus traces himself back to King David through his mother Mary, who allegedly descends from David, as shown in the third chapter of Luke. There are four basic problems with this claim:

a) There is no scriptural evidence that Mary descends from David.

b) Even if Mary can trace herself back to David, that doesn't help Jesus, since tribal affiliation goes only through the father, not mother. Cf. Numbers 1:18; Ezra 2:59.

But Luke 3, [alleged Mary's genealogy (according to catholics) ] (3:27) also lists Shealtiel and Zerubbabel (both direct blood descendants of Jeconiah).

(I think these Catholic fabricators overlooked the fact that If Mary descends from them, it would also disqualify her from being a Messianic progenitor.)

For 2,000 years Jews have rejected the Christian idea of Jesus as messiah. Why?
Jews do not accept Jesus as the messiah because:
1) The Jesus of Christians did not fulfill the messianic prophecies.

According to Jewish sources, the Messiah will be born of human parents and possess normal physical attributes like other people. He will not be a demi-god, nor will he possess supernatural qualities.
The Messiah must be descended on his father's side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24). The Woman is Not Mary.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Catholics ( and other religious groups) hold that the Woman in that verse refers to Mary and so is the Woman mentioned in Revelation 12.

But the truth in the Scripture reveals that Woman there refers to the Church of God or Jerusalem which is Above and Christians are the Seed.

If we read Revelation 12. It speaks of a Woman, but it is easy to see that it is not Mary.

Read:
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The following verses, the highlight of which is the allegory of Paul further supports that the woman written in Gen 3:15 and Revelation 12... is not Mary but "Jerusalem Above"!.

Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

From the verse gal 4:4 you might hastily say: see the Son is made of a woman! That's Mary!

But upon further reading you will find the truth unfolds through an allegory by Paul:

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Gal 4:20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
Gal 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Gal 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

The Woman which is Jerusalem Above brought forth the man child (Christ Jesus). Yes He is the beginning of Jerusalem Above, the first born from the dead.
Colossians 1:18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you."
Ephesians 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.

Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
